About the Breweries
Frasers Folly
Maybe it’s the unique paper packaging. Maybe it’s being the most southerly craft brewery in Africa. Or maybe it’s having the only English-style craft beer in South Africa. But here’s what I know. Heart and zeal come first; and that’s how we brew Frasers Folly. Quality is key – we never sacrifice that. And we get to be creative and have loads of fun while brewing our beer.
For Fraser’s Folly craft beer, it all started in Struisbaai, a small town right at the most southerly edge of Africa. For six years I made and sold my craft beer from here. Until 2016, that is, when I joined the Black Oystercatcher Wine Farm. And that’s where you’ll find me today. The Frasers Folly Brewhouse is open for you to visit during peak holiday season, to see how we brew our quality craft beer daily.
We’ve got some pretty state of the art equipment here. And I work with a team of talented and committed people to brew and sell fantastic craft beer from the southernmost brewery in Africa. Or just check in at the Black Oystercatcher Wine Farm Tasting Room to learn more about our craft beer (during those times that the Brewhouse is closed while we’re busy making our craft beer favourites).
