Some fun facts about our Feast of Southern Africa Ride
We started exploring this route back in 2007. Initially called the Cape 2 Kalahari our route looped from Namibia into the Okavango. but didn't extend to Victoria Falls.
You can add 5 countries to your list on this ride: South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia
Our country-by-nights breakdown is:
South Africa: 4 nights
Namibia: 9 nights
Botswana: 5 nights
Zimbabwe: 1 night
Most of the gravel road riding is in South Africa and Namibia
Best time of the year to ride is between April and October, avoiding the high summer temperatures and the rainy season.
