We seriously love the Honda Africa Twin. No, it’s not the BMW GS but in our view – and for a loyal legion of fans – it’s really hard to beat the AT’s versatility, reliability , comfort and rideability. The Africa Twin boasts a heritage that includes a four-time Paris-Dakar race-winner and is very well equipped for anything we might encounter on our tour of Southern Africa. The AT loves skimming across the smooth gravel roads we’ll encounter in Namibia and is equally at home eating up the miles on those long stretches of tarmac, or hugging the curves of the mountain passes we’ve included in the route – like this one.

We currently operate a fleet of four bikes which we lovingly and expertly maintain. You can expect to ride one of our machines with confidence that you’ll have a seriously fun, hassle-free trip.

In case we do need to do anything to keep the bikes running perfectly on the road we bring along a full spares kit, as well as a spare bike on a trailer.

We’ll help keep your own bike running too if you decide to bring it along with you – you’ll need to bring any spares you may need though.
